The task
Artists needed a professional site without a developer, and fans needed one account across every artist
Musicians, songwriters and labels sell music, karaoke and merch and run a fan club. Every feature had to work in two places: in the artist's editor and on the live fan site
What we did
We helped design and build the site builder, the music player and the artist admin, across all four apps of the platform
Site builder
Pages from 20+ blocks, a theme and a palette, with drag and drop, undo and redo, drafts and publishing
Editing together
Several people work on one site at once and see each other's changes live
Player with karaoke
A fan-site player with the artist's commentary, a karaoke mode and a lyrics-sync editor
One block, two modes
Each block has an editable and a public version, so it looks the same in the editor and on the live site
Results
The platform launched and is still live, with thousands of artist sites published
In 2022 it was covered by Digital Music News. Performance wasn't tracked on this project, so we claim no numbers for it
