The task
A white-label platform grows by adding brands. When we joined, its portal served one brand, wasn't ready for search engines and carried duplicated desktop and mobile code
The platform was preparing for a market launch where search traffic mattered, and the regulator added hard deadlines along the way. The back office was a monolithic app from 2020
What we did
We led the frontend: the portal and the back office, the design systems and the mobile apps
Seven brands, one codebase
A theming system turns a brand's palette into a complete look; each brand's country, currency, language and payments are set in the back office

Server-side rendering with each brand's look and localised addresses, ready before the market launch
Identity checks on deadline
Document scanning, face detection and liveness checks, built from scratch in 1–1.5 months
Room to grow
Both products split into eleven micro-frontends; the back office rebuilt on a new API
Operators edit their own sites
Visual builders for the header, navigation and content cards with a live preview, so changes need no developer
A faster portal on Next.js
Rebuilt on Next.js 16 and React 19: a page-speed score of 75–80 against 45–50, measured on staging
Results
Market launch a year and a half after development started. Today seven brands run on one codebase, with more than a million users
Regulatory requirements were met on time, and the product grew steadier year after year: in 2022 two thirds of the work went on fixing bugs, now about 15%, and the rest goes on new features. The client, the brands and the screens are under NDA
